Nick Carter can't wait to be a dad? Hi baby!
The 36-year-old Backstreet Boys singer was seen kissing his pregnant wife Lauren Kitt's baby bump as they walked the red carpet at the premiere of the Syfy TV movie Dead 7 in Los Angeles Friday, the day the film first aired. The couple was in great spirits and the two smiled widely as they cradled her bump.
Both Carter and his wife, 32, star in the flick, a "post-apocalyptic Western." The singer also co-wrote the film's script. Dead 7 also stars Carter's band mates A.J. McLean, 38, and Howie Dorough, 42, plus members from other popular '90s boy bands—*NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick, 44, and Joey Fatone, 39, and 98 Degrees' Jeff Timmons, 42.
Carter announced in November he and Kitt were expecting their first child and revealed on Dancing With the Stars their child is a boy. They have been married since 2014.
Carter and Kitt spoke to E! News on the red carpet about their upcoming arrival. They have already chosen a name for their baby and she plans to have an all-natural delivery at home.
"If he wants to film it, he can," she said about her husband, joking, "I'm getting him a snorkel and mask."
"Yeah, I am going to have my GoPro ready to go," he joked.
Carter is the youngest Backstreet Boys member and the last to become a parent: McLean and wife Rochelle share daughter Ava, 3, while Dorough and wife Leigh are parents to sons James, 6, and Holden, 3.
Kevin Richardson, 44, and wife Kristin share sons Mason, 8, and Maxwell, 2. Brian Littrell, 41, and wife Leighanne have a 13-year-old son named Baylee. He recently made his Broadway debut.
