They've inspired clothing lines and helped sell out winter wear. Now, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are busy helping their great-grandma pick out a stylish crown in a brand new children's book, The Birthday Crown.
In the freshly penned picture book commemorating Queen Elizabeth's upcoming 90th birthday, the two children arrive to make suggestions for what should adorn their "gan-gan's" head on her special day.
Written by Davide Cali with colorful illustrations by Kate Slater, the book follows the royal monarch through Buckingham Palace as she tries to select the perfect head piece with unique ideas from the royal jewelers, gardeners and other staff.
Will she wear fruit? "Not very regal." A bird cage? Not quite stately. A disco ball? Not her style.
Ultimately, little George picks out the perfect material—a crown made of paper handcrafted by his truly. Everyone say awwww!
While Prince George saved the fictional day, Princess Charlotte also shares a kinship with her great-grandmother in real life.
"The Queen, she was really thrilled that it was a little girl, and I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington, she was one of our first visitors here," Kate Middleton said of her daughter's birth in an interview for ITV's television special, The Queen at Ninety. "I think she is very fond of Charlotte, always watching what she's up to."
Though the toddler gave the Queen a special gift in the picture book, it is her royal highness who typically offers the kids something special on their visits.
"She always leaves a little gift or something in their room," the duchess added. "That just shows, I think her love for her family."
