There's no way you've seen this Pixar Easter egg before.

Hank, an octopus with camouflaging capabilities, has appeared in every one of the film studio's feature films since 1995's Toy Story. The character, voiced by Ed O'Neill, will finally come out of hiding in Finding Dory on June 17. "Every Pixar fan knows that we love Easter Eggs," director Andrew Stanton said in a video released Friday. "And until now, Hank has been our most closely guarded secret. There are even people internally at Pixar who don't know about this."

The video is part promo, part April Fools' prank. Regardless, it's sure to please Pixar fans. Look for Hank (or traces of him, at least) in 1998's A Bug's Life, 1999's Toy Story 2, 2001's Monsters, Inc., 2003's Finding Nemo, 2004's The Incredibles, 2006's Cars, 2007's Ratatouille, 2008's WALL-E, 2009's Up, 2010's Toy Story 3, 2011's Cars 2, 2012's Brave, 2013's Monsters University, 2015's Inside Out and 2015's The Good Dinosaur.

"Hank started off as a bit of an inside joke between those of us who were here at Pixar in the very beginning," said Stanton, who directed Finding Nemo and WALL-E. "But since then, finding a place for him in our films has become part of our culture, and I'm glad we finally get to introduce him properly to fans." The big reveal excited O'Neill, who shouted, "I'm going to be more famous in Pixar than that lamp!"

In addition to O'Neill, Finding Dory boasts an all-star voice cast that includes Albert Brooks, Torbin Bullock, Ty Burrell, Willem Dafoe, Bennett Dammann, Ellen DeGeneres, Idris Elba, Bill Hader, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Vicki Lewis, Kate McKinnon, Kaitlin Olson, Bob Peterson, Hayden Rolence and Dominic West.
