The 35-year-old entrepreneur is spending time in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with some of her gal pals to celebrate a birthday, and looks like she's truly enjoying herself. Clad in a halter-style bikini that featured a psychedelic pink and blue pattern, Simpson appeared relaxed while hanging out with her friend and birthday girl Nicole Chavez.
The fashion designer paired her bikini with cat-eye sunglasses, chunky high heels, a cowboy hat and, of course, her classic daisy duke shorts. Simpson has been busting out her famous cut offs in recent months, notably featuring them in her spring clothing campaign. The mom of two made the look famous all over again when she wore them in The Dukes of Hazzard in 2005 and made jaws drop, so she brought them back in her clothing line. The pair she designed is called "Minna" and retails for $44.
Simpson has been documenting her trip with Chavez and CaCee Cobb on Instagram, from the moments before they boarded a private jet to their late-night festivities. The kids are obviously staying at home with father Eric Johnson this week! The "With You" songstress posted a photo of herself staring seductively into the camera lens while wearing a yellow one-piece swimsuit that had "caution dangerous curves" written on it. Chavez is next to her wearing a lace cover up and sunglasses.
"Enough said," Simpson captioned the pic.
She also posted a solo pic of celebrity stylist Chavez posing in a bikini and captioned it, "40 is the new 20! @nicolechavezstyle #hotmamma #thecape."
As Cindy Lauper sings, "Girls just wanna have fun," and it looks like this trio is doing just that.
