After weeks of tireless voting, we're happy to announce that the winner of Alpha Male Madness 2016 is...Sam Heughan!
The Outlander star seemed to have no problem beating out 63 other competitors for the title of TV's Alpha Male for the second year in a row, and managed to defeat his final rival, Arrow's Stephen Amell, with 57% of the vote.
That does not mean, however, that Amell's fans didn't put up a fantastic fight, and we saw more comments than ever about how hard it was to choose between the two handsome badasses. It was definitely a tough choice, and all the fans deserve some recognition for their efforts. Amell may not have won the title, but he didn't lose any love.
In fact, this was the nicest, most polite fight we think we've ever seen, and we're proud of all of you. Sam Heughan may have won the title, but we are all winners. Outlander returns Saturday, April 9 at 9 p.m. on Starz. Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on the CW.
