The Dancing With the Stars injuries continue. Just a week after Nyle DiMarco was sent to the hospital for stitches prior to last week's premiere, E! News has confirmed Mark Ballas injured his back. Ballas, who is partnered with fighter Paige VanZant, injured his back during rehearsal on Sunday.

The professional dancer, 29, might need to sit the Monday, March 28 show out.

VanZant began rehearsing with Alan Bernsten, a member of the Dancing With the Stars troupe, after Ballas' injury. Last week Ballas and VanZant got a score of 21 out of 30.

Ballas joined Dancing With the Stars during season five and came in first twice, once in season six with Kristi Yamaguchi and again in season eight with Shawn Johnson. Last season he was partnered with actress Alexa PenaVega and came in sixth place. He took second place twice, once with Katherine Jenkins and again with Sadie Robertson. Ballas previously injured his shoulder while he was partnered with Candace Cameron Bure in season 18. They went on to place third in their competition.

Stay tuned for more on Ballas' injury status.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays, 8 p.m. on ABC.
