Teresa Giudice is hitting the mat—hard!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star became a huge fan of yoga while in prison and vowed to make it part of her routine when she was released. The Bravo star would wake up every morning and work on her practice for hours and decided that she wanted to make her passion for yoga a little more official.
"I love yoga. It changed my life," Teresa told E! News after she was released. "I want to get certified, but I'm not doing it as much because I'm working nonstop."
Well, it looks like she finally found the time because Teresa shared a picture on Instagram Monday morning of her and a group of women training to become yoga instructors! "With Erin Barry #nirvana #TeacherTraining2016 #adjustmentworkshop #authenticisthenewspritual," she captioned the picture. Nirvana, located in Montville, New Jersey, is Teresa's studio of choice.
Teresa's passion for yoga won't stop at the classroom. The reality TV star also revealed in her memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, that she plans to do a whole lot more with it.
"I want to come out with my own yoga DVD tape, my own yoga line," she explains in her book. "If you put out what you want, sometimes you get it. Never say, 'I can't do that,' because then you're already bringing yourself down."
Teresa's official foray into yoga instructing comes several days after her husband, Joe Giudice, checked himself into prison to begin serving his 41-month sentence. She and her daughters spent the Easter holiday dyeing eggs, showing that they're keeping strong while Joe is away.
"His brother, his sister and several other members of the Giudice family, as well as myself, were present when he turned himself in to the prison, including Teresa," family attorney James Leonard Jr. told E! News in a statement. "It was obviously a very emotional day, but this is a very strong family with a tremendous support system and they will get through this, just as they did when Teresa was away."
(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
