While celebrating Easter weekend, the American Idol winner made it a priority to capture a few traditions with River Rose Blackstock.
One of their stops took them to the Easter Bunny's house where somebody was not impressed, seriously.
"Happy Easter!!" Kelly wrote on Twitter as her daughter wore the perfect dress for spring with a pink headband. "River loved the Easter Bunny about as much as she loved Santa ha! #happycamper."
Oh, you guys don't remember what happened when she met Santa Claus? Let us rewind to December 2015 when the one-year-old ended up on St. Nick's lap. Let's just say it was a challenge to say cheese.
"So this happened," Kelly wrote on social media as River was photographed shedding a few innocent tears. "#RiverLovesSanta ....is it wrong I slightly enjoyed this ha!"
Luckily, this holiday weekend wasn't all filled with hurdles and challenges.
River and her Finding Nemo basket headed outside for a wild adventure that ended with a great fine. Heck, we may even see a smile after this activity.
"River found a golden egg & was very excited about it!" the "Piece by Piece" singer shared on Twitter. "She insisted on hunting w/her purse & her Dori basket. #easter."
Putting candy and eggs aside, we can't help but remind fans that Kelly is due to welcome baby No. 2 sooner rather than later. And after she welcomes that baby boy, the singer can't wait to enjoy a tasty treat.
"Red wine...Oh my God I miss it so badly!" she recently told iHeartRadio host Elvis Duran. "I know people always say you can have a glass, but I just have such complicated pregnancies that I don't want to risk it." Don't worry, girl. The wait will be worth it.
