Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik stepped out for another rare couple's appearance Friday night, attending the release party for his debut solo album Mind of Mine in New York City.
The 20-year-old model and 23-year-old former One Direction member mobbed by a crowd of fans as they left her apartment earlier that day. Malik was seen clutching her wrist and leading her gently. Gigi wore a sheer top that showed off a lace bralette, paired with a mid-length camel coat, blue skinny jeans and white patterned booties. Malik dressed casually in a black sweatshirt.
They later changed outfits for the album release party at the iHeartRadio studios. The couple arrived just before 7 p.m. Malik, dressed in a black and white printed leather jacket over a black outfit, was very protective of Gigi, who sported a red jacket over a cream top, as they walked into the venue, E! News has learned exclusively. It was packed with fans, some of which had waited for him overnight. The two were seen helping a girl up after she fell on the ground.
The two hung out backstage for about 45 minutes until he began his performance.

Gigi watched the gig from a VIP area. She appeared to be in great spirits and sang along to all the tracks Malik performed. She posted on Snapchat a video showing her singing along earlier that day...and making a naughty gesture.
After the bash, the couple headed to a private after party at Milk Studios. They hung out in a VIP area with friends. Gigi was spotted chilling out on a couch with friend and fellow Victoria's Secret model Josephine Skriver, 22.
Malik and Gigi sparked romance rumors in November. In January, she starred in the singer's sexy music video for "Pillowtalk," his debut solo single. Malik confirmed in February Gigi is his girlfriend.
Her mother, Yolanda Hadid, formerly Yolanda Foster, sent kudos to her daughter's new man. She posted on her Instagram page Friday a photo of the cover of Malik's album, which shows him as a child.
"Comgratulations sweet one, I just love this picture....... #MindOfMine #AlbumRelease @zayn," she wrote.
