Atlanta news station WSB-TV paid tribute to the late rapper Phife Dawg in their broadcast yesterday.
The co-founder of A Tribe Called Quest passed away Tuesday at the age of 45.
His family cited "complications resulting from diabetes" as the cause.
In the above video, traffic reporter Mark Arum and anchor Fred Blankenship of the Atlanta, Georgia, ABC affiliate seamlessly work the hip-hop artist's lyrics into the station's traffic updates.
Arum drops lyrics as he launches into his traffic report: "This rush hour couple of more hits than the Braves or the Yankees."
He also references more of Phife Dawg's memorable verses as he checks in with a reporter in the WSB Radio SkyCopter: "Mark McKay, are things ludicrously speedy or infectious with the slo mo?"
The traffic reporter also shared his thoughts about the late rapper on his Facebook page:
I am stunned. And shook. Most times I have to do a mic check I quote my man Phife: "Microphone Check, 1,2, what is this? The five-foot assassin with the roughneck business!" #RIPPhifeDawg

Phife Dawg, born Malik Taylor in 1970, co-founded A Tribe Called Quest in 1985.
Fans, friends, and fellow musicians have shared their condolences via social media in the wake of the news of the star's passing.
The rapper had suffered from health issues in recent years and underwent a kidney transplant in 2008 to deal with his longtime battle with Type 1 diabetes.
"Malik was our loving husband, father, brother and friend. We love him dearly. How he impacted all our lives will never be forgotten. His love for music and sports was only surpassed by his love of God and family," the family said in a statement.
His family has asked for privacy as they mourn their loss.
