Arrow's Olicity Wedding Certainly Did Not Go As Planned and Now We're Sad

Did Oliver and Felicity get married?!

Worst. Wedding. Ever.

That may be a bit of an overstatement in a TV world that also includes Game of Thrones, but in the world of Arrow, that wedding was certainly not the joyful event it's typically supposed to be.

It seems that for now at least, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) are done. They wouldn't have even participated in that wedding sham if Cupid weren't back and targeting "celebrity" couples, and they also wouldn't have had to get all dressed up, recite vows, exchange rings, and proclaim their undying love for each other. It was a totally contrived way to force this broken up couple to face their canceled nuptials head-on, and it totally worked on us.

We were also nearly fooled when Felicity cheesily talked Cupid down from her war on love with a little speech about how Oliver changed her life and she'll love him forever and whatnot.

Her speech was true, but it didn't mean for the present situation what Oliver thought it meant. She told him afterwards that while she still loves him, their marriage just would not work. She even quit Team Arrow, since it would be too hard to work together without actually being together.

Of course, this is Olicity we're talking about, so we wouldn't put it past them to get back together sooner rather than later. For now though, we can all just be heartbroken together.

Tonight's Arrow also accomplished what we thought to be impossible and put Damien Darhk behind bars, all thanks to Quentin Lance's testimony and Laurel's excellent lawyering, but we'd probably all be fools to think he's going to stay behind bars for very long. He certainly didn't seem too upset about his new predicament, and managed to sneak his ring past the guards.

We don't know what he could possibly do with that ring, but we're going to guess it's something evil and probably helpful in getting himself out of prison.

How long do you think it will take him to escape? How long do you think Felicity and Oliver will be able to stay away from each other? Sound off in the comments!
