Hold up. Pretty sure we have been waiting for this day since we were old enough to say "Filet-O-Fish." Brace yourselves, MacDo fans. Your favorite chain is working on a hardcore rewards program for all you loyal Big Mac lovers. It looks like the company has high hopes for the program, meaning you should too. Forbes notes, Mike Andres, President of McDonald's USA said, "We're working on a customer-designed loyalty program that we think will be as good as there is out there in the marketplace." Um, already sold.
The article also notes the program should be rolling out either later this year or at the start of 2017. The program looks like it might work on a point system, with customers points expiring after a certain time. That way you'll never slack off on your trips to the drive-through. Pure brilliance on their part if you ask us. We didn't really need another reason to go to McDonald's (as they had us at all-day hash browns) but this program definitely doesn't hurt.
Will you be trying out the McDonald's loyalty program when it rolls out? Share your thoughts in the comments!
