Joe Giudice is headed to prison in just a couple days, but he's made sure to maintain his cool ahead of time.

The 43-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star will begin his 41-month sentencing on March 23, which he was given after being convicted of bankruptcy fraud and failure to file income tax returns.

Though the sentence might sound a bit daunting to most of us, Joe has remained true to character about it, promising he has very few fears going into the whole thing.

"It's not a big deal," he told People magazine. "They tell me that the low security and the camp there are almost the same so it's no big deal."

Joe explained that he'll be spending his time working beside other people who have served long sentences and are just waiting to get out. "So once you are there if you screw up there, then you go back to high security," he said.

In fact, he's looking at his sentence as a sort of rehabilitation program.

"I am not going to be able to drink for a while which is good because I don't even know when it's been since I haven't had a drink," he explained. "It's been a long time. Definitely the whole year I definitely drank every day a couple bottles at night just to go to bed."

Meanwhile, Joe's wife, Teresa Giudice, was released from her 14-month prison sentence just a few days before Christmas.

The reality star previously explained that the time following her release has been bittersweet, knowing her husband would soon be taken into custody.

"I feel bad for my daughters just having to go through this again. That's what breaks my heart," she told E! News in February.

However, she says Joe has been strong about it. "He says, 'I'm gonna do it, I have no choice...we're gonna get through this.' So we're both encouraging each other. Again, it's bittersweet, you know, coming home and now he has to leave. But, listen, you're dealt cards and you just gotta, you know, make the best of it."

As for their relationship, the couple isn't worried at all.

"Our bond, I feel, is unbreakable," Teresa said. "He really was there for me and I'm gonna do the same with him."
