Congrats to Carice van Houten and Guy Pearce!

The 39-year-old Game of Thrones actress and the 48-year-old Memento star, who appears in the new Australian series Jack Irish, are expecting their first child, her rep confirmed to E! News Saturday.

On Game of Thrones, van Houten plays the priestess Melisandre, aka The Red Woman, who was pregnant in season two in 2012 and had a rather memorable and bizarre childbirth scene.

"Ok. I'm ready for your shadowbaby jokes," the actress tweeted Saturday.

Van Houten had last month appeared as Melisandre in a baby shower sketch on Late Night With Seth Meyers. She also talked about filming her famous childbirth scene with a rather animated prosthetic belly.

The actress reprises her role on Game of Thrones season six, which premieres on HBO on April 24.

The Dutch star and Pearce had never confirmed a relationship. They sparked romance rumors earlier this year when they were spotted looking cozy together while out and about in Los Angeles.

Last year, van Houten and Pearce filmed the movie Brimstone, which also stars Game of Thrones stars Emilia Jones and Kit Harington, as well as Dakota Fanning. In a blog post, Pearce called van Houten "very talented and beautiful." A release date has not been announced.

News of van Housten and Pearce's upcoming arrival comes more than a year after he and wife Kate Mestitz split. The two broke up in January 2015 about 18 years of marriage. He confirmed the breakup last October last October, tweeting, "Sorry 2 be boring but we couldn't be closer. We'll love each other 4 ever xx."

People was the first to report on van Houten and Pearce's baby news.
