Iggy Azalea didn't have the smoothest run in 2015, but she's ready to come back better than ever this year.

The Aussie rapper is preparing for her latest album release Digital Distortion after going on a mini hiatus for the past year, but she explains why there was a need for her to take a step back during that time and what she's learned throughout the process.

Aside from posing topless and flaunting her enviable figure in the pages of Schön! magazine, Iggy opened up about having to face the harsh side of fame. "Last year, I felt like I was definitely not in control of the media's narrative of me. It made me feel very out of control of my own life or my ability to have my own perception of who I was. You don't want someone else writing your narrative and making you the villain," she explained.

"Then I just realized that, you know what, you can't control it and I think I accepted that and moved on to living my life."

The 25-year-old, born Amethyst Amelia Kelly, has been teasing fans with numerous snippets from her upcoming project, and will be releasing the debut single off the LP, "Team," in just a few days! However, she hasn't just had music on the brain. You might remember that a certain basketball-playing someone popped the question to the celeb.

Along with making her musical return, Azalea's been busy planning her wedding to Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young. She shares that a dress, location and date have all already been decided on, but there's still a lot to do because the whole planning process kinda took a backseat to her album.

"It's not that I've not been excited to plan my wedding, but I've just been so involved with my album," she confessed, and admitted, "It's too much stuff! I've got to have a wedding and go on a f--king honey moon and…put on an arena tour, all across the whole world."

At one point, however, it all took a big toll on her. Luckily, she found a way to get herself back on solid ground. "I had to have a psychotic break-down last year," Iggy revealed. "I felt tired and stressed out. Now, I feel like my energy's been renewed."
