Great looks run in Rob Lowe's family.
The star of FOX's The Grinder, Parks and Recreation alum and '80s heartthrob spent time with his cute son John Owen Lowe, 20, on his 52nd birthday Thursday and posted a selfie of the two on Instagram. Both men show off their shirtless bods.
"Celebrating my #birthday with a #workout & @Johnny_L0we," he wrote. "Whatever your age, be your best! #men #results @Profile4Men."
Rob and his son, who goes by Johnny, also recently hung out at the season 1 wrap party for The Grinder, along with guest star and Arrow actor Colton Haynes, 27.
Johnny had made his acting debut on the show last year. He appeared on several episodes as a guy who dates his dad's character's teenage niece.
"Family reunion at the Grinder wrap party last night. (Getting sick of being the least attractive person in these photos)... #thegrinder," Johnny wrote on Instagram Thursday, alongside a photo of the three actors.
"Rob & I are smiling...Johnny is modeling," Haynes, who played Rob's character's TV son, said on his own page. "I haven't mastered the Lowe smile yet either so it's ok haha. Congrats to everyone on #TheGrinder & on the season 1 wrap! Can't stress how much fun I had being a part of it."
"Waiting for my keys to be made for the house they invited me to move in to in Santa Barbara..." Haynes added, referring to Johnny's hometown.
Johnny isn't acting full-time like his dad just yet; He is enrolled at Stanford University.
"Well, it's like a one-time thing," Rob told Hello! magazine last summer about his son's time on The Grinder. "I'm not letting him drop out of college. No. He's interning."
John, 20, is Rob's youngest child with wife Sheryl Berkoff, 54. The two are also parents to son Matthew Lowe, 22.
