Did the prophets see this coming? ABC has canceled Of Kings and Prophets after just two episodes. The biblical drama, which many considered Game of Thrones-lite, occupied ABC's troubled Tuesdays at 10 p.m. timeslot. Wicked City, another canceled ABC drama, previously occupied it.

ABC will replace the series with the Shark Tank companion series Beyond the Tank starting Tuesday, March 22 at 10 p.m., E! News has confirmed.

The second episode of Of Kings and Prophets drew just 2.4 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic. The series was originally slotted to premiere this fall on Sundays, but was held as recastings and other creative changes took place.

The show starred Ray Winstone, Olly Rix, Mohammad Bakri, Simone Kessell, Nathaniel Parker, Haaz Sleiman, James Floyd, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Jeannie Mason and David Walmsley.

There are still many shows sitting in limbo as networks work on their development slates for next season. Click through the gallery below to find out which other shows have been canceled.
