James Corden celebrated the end of his first year as host of The Late Late Show in a big way—by crashing a fan's house.

He and Reggie Watts stumbled upon a fan named Natalie's house and hosted Wednesday's show from inside her living room. But little did she and her roommates know that they would be joined by several A-listers, including Demi Lovato, Colin Farrell and Wanda Sykes. He also brought zookeeper Jack Hanna, who brought along some animal friends.

Because any group of people meeting for the first time needs to break the ice, the British host thought playing a game of hide-and-seek would be a good way to warm up the crowd—and that it was. Demi, Natalie, Colin, Reggie and Wanda all hid around the house, some choosing better places than others.

Wanda chose the most obvious (or the most discreet) option by hiding in plain sight. Sitting on a stool in the living room, Wanda froze like a Madame Tussauds wax figure. Demi went up a steep flight of stairs into an attic storage space, while Colin chose a closet. Natalie hid in her own bedroom and Watts crawled onto the floor by a window. With everyone hidden, James set out to find everyone, leaving Natalie's roommates on the couch to stare at Wanda. (James missed her completely.)

He found Natalie first, laughing at her for choosing the most obvious spot. Demi was next, whom he credited for climbing up the scary steps. But the space in which she was hiding was closed off by curtains that James ended up breaking. "F--k!" he said when he dislodged the curtains.

"Where does that go? I've ruined the whole thing."

Eventually he found Wanda, and he couldn't believe she had been sitting in front of him the entire time. Laughing, Wanda joked, "That was a little bit racist."

Finally he found Colin, the game's winner, but he didn't enjoy his victory. "When you win you just feel unloved," Colin noted. "You hear all this laughter and you're in the cupboard [hiding]."

Let's be honest, Colin, the real winners were Natalie and her three roommates. Although the show was, quite literally, all fun and games, the Into the Woods actor gave everyone more than they bargained for by inviting Hanna and his skunk, otters and other animals to meet everyone.
