Jamie Lynn Spears had a huge night on Tuesday, taking the stage at the honorable Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, which was only made even more emotional by an appearance from her big sis, Britney Spears.
The Princess of Pop took to the stage to surprise Jamie Lynn with a very special introduction before she began her show.
"Thanks to the Opry for letting me introduce this beautiful, young lady who is my heart and my soul," Brit Brit began. "Not only is she beautiful and extremely talented, she's my little sister...Jamie Lynn Spears!"
As the sisters met up on stage, the paused to embrace for a few moments, both getting incredibly emotional. As Britney walked off, she swiped some tears from her cheeks, but she wasn't alone. Jamie Lynn also couldn't help but get emotional.
"I can't believe that my whole family kept this secret from me," the singer said through a shaky voice. "Now, I'm going to try to sing some songs for ya'll. I'm so honored to be at the Opry and I'm even more honored to be here with all the people that I love the most. And that's what this is about, you know?"
She began her performance with the first song she released as an artist, which she wrote about her husband, Jamie Watson, with whom she celebrated their second anniversary earlier this week.
Britney took to Instagram to snap a photo with her older brother, Bryan Spears, ahead of taking the stage to surprise their younger sister.
"Before we surprised @jamielynnspears tonight!!" she captioned the picture, looking gorgeous in a black and mesh dress. "So proud of our baby sister."
