In the olden days, you were Team 'N Sync or Team Backstreet Boys, but there was no middle ground (Team Switzerland was an invention of the next generation of tweens).

But now, members of both boy bands doing the unthinkable and joining forces—to fight zombies in the upcoming Syfy movie Dead 7. My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 star Joey Fatone told E! News about the "larger than life" paranormal battle he's planning to fight with bandmate Chris Kirkpatrick, BSB's Nick Carter, A.J. Mclean and Howie Dorough, 98 Degrees' Jeff Timmons and O-Town's Erik-Michael Estrada by his side.

"It's a whole boy band movie, per se, but it has nothing to do with music," Joey explains. "It's about zombies and in a Western kind of time, and it's actually post-apocalyptic I guess."

Joey explained he tweeted a photo with Chris making new music in the studio as "a cliffhanger" leading up to the big reveal: The main song for Dead 7. "This is the first time, I think, that a bunch of us [from different] boy bands have ever gotten together and sang on a track," he said.

The movie itself is "cheesy," admitted Joey, "but we're serious about it." For much more on that and how the whole project came together, watch the video above.

Dead 7 will debut April 1 on SyFy, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 hits theaters March 25.
