Where in the world is...Duchess Kate Middleton

The British royal arrived for the United Kingdom's Commonwealth Day while channeling the famed computer game character Carmen Sandiego in a wide-brimmed hat and matching coat, swapping in head-to-toe gray instead of the cartoon's signature fire-engine red.

In a lace-embossed coat by Erdem and matching hat by John Boyd, the 34-year-old mom of two joined her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry at a service in honor of the unofficial holiday held at Westminster Abbey.

The day is meant to pay tribute to the network of 53 former territories of the British empire that currently remain within the Commonwealth of Nations. As the head of the Commonwealth for more than six decades, Queen Elizabeth was also present at the ceremony with her husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The Royal Commonwealth Society organized the annual service—the largest interfaith gathering in the United Kingdom.

Each year is slated to represent a different theme, this year's being "an inclusive commonwealth."

"Being inclusive and accepting diversity goes far deeper than accepting differences at face value and being tolerant," the Queen wrote in her official Commonwealth message. "True celebration of the dignity of each person, and the value of their uniqueness and contribution, involves reaching out, recognising and embracing their individual identity.

Middleton is notably inclusive with her clothing. A proponent of fashion recycling, the royal has no fear about repeating her highly photographed ensembles. It's also no surprise that the brunette beauty chose gray for the day. She's a fan of the shade, having repeatedly worn various gray sheath dresses throughout her public career.

As for her male dates for the afternoon, brothers William and Harry looked handsome in their suits and colorful ties. It seems bearded Harry has no intentions of shaving off his facial hair any time soon, especially before his long-awaited first trip to Nepal. The royal will arrive in the country on March 19 while Prince William and Duchess Kate are expected to travel to Bhutan this spring.

Bon Voyage!
