CBS is sticking with what works. The network announced it's renewed 11 shows for the 2016-2017 season, but some newbies and fan-favorites are missing from the list.

Blue Bloods, Elementary, Hawaii Five-0, Madam Secretary, Mom, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, Scorpion, 2 Broke Girls, Survivor and The Amazing Race will all return for new seasons. The network previously announced NCIS and The Big Bang Theory renewals.

Code Black, Life in Pieces, Supergirl and Limitless rolled out this fall and were left off the renewal list. Angel From Hell starring Maggie Lawson and Jane Lynch also launched this fall, but was already canceled. New shows still to come from CBS include Rush Hour, with Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders just launching.

In terms of endings, Julianna Margulies' The Good Wife will end this May after seven seasons. The network announced its end during the Super Bowl.

Criminal Minds, The Odd Couple and Person of Interest are also missing from the CBS renewal sheet.

Mass renewals are usually the name of the game for CBS. This year, ABC got in on the action and renewed 14 shows early, including its entire TGIT line-up of Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder.
