Singer Michael Jackson has denied rumors that he is suffering from alpha-1antitryspin deficiency, a potentially deadly genetic lung disease. A Jackson spokesperson has stated that the reclusive star is in excellent condition, and is in fact planning a world tour. However, the statement has yet to silence skeptics, who note that the lung itself has not only been silent on the allegations, but has not been seen publicly in recent memory.

Some have suggested that the lung has been admitted to a discreet Swiss medical center for plastic surgery in an effort to “look like a more Caucasian lung,” stated a longtime Jackson observer to Soup Blog sources. “But really, it’s hard to say. The last time anyone heard from the lung—which is notoriously publicity-shy—was a cough during a Jacko Toys R Us shopping spree in 2006.”

If Jackson does embark on a world tour, it is presumed that the lung will accompany him and play a large part in the singing all of the beloved Jackson hits, as the lung has done for decades.
