Lady Gaga and Shirtless Taylor Kinney Take the Polar Plunge for Charity

The engaged duo joined the charity for the second year in a row

Before they plunge into marriage, Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney are taking a plunge of a different temperature. 

The engaged pair returned to the Polar Plunge in Chicago to take a chilly dip in Lake Michigan. The Oscar nominee and Chicago Fire star looked adorable as ever as they stood alongside each other in support of the charity's annual event, which supports the Special Olympics. 

"We love the city of Chicago and the Polar Plunge for The Special Olympics. These men and women are brave and powerful. Me and Taylor love getting cold in your honor every year," the singer expressed on her Instagram account. 

While it's not the first time these lovebirds have participated in the event—Lady Gaga's expression from last year's plunge said it all—the water hasn't gotten any less cold. 

Bracing herself for the cold, the American Horror Story actress held her nose as her fiancé carried her into the water on his back. Luckily for Gaga, she had more clothes on to stay insulated than her hunky beau, who bared the cold in just a pair of shorts and a baseball cap.

Despite the less-than-desirable temperature, it was all in good fun. 

"We had such a good time! Though I can tell Taylor's shorts were freezing in this pic !" she added on social media. 

After two straight years of participation, this duo is a pair of bonafide pros. Perhaps next year they'll participate as husband and wife.
