Considering swapping your blonde locks for something darker? KenGi (a.k.a. Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid) has officially beat you to it.

The international supermodels and besties pulled a switch-a-roo at Paris Fashion Week this morning when they quite literally traded hair colors. (You can thank Balmain for that.)

If you are, or have ever, contemplated making the change yourself, it's as simple as dying your hair. However there are factors you haven't even considered—like your wardrobe, for example. To ensure you're fully prepared…keep reading.

Skin Tone: Keep in mind that dark hair looks good against all skin tones—from porcelain to tan. The pale skin and dark hair combo tends to make jewel-toned eyes pop, (think Lily Donaldson who rocked brunette locks at the show), while a bronzed tone against dark locks will give you an exotic vibe, (like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who also went to the dark side in the name of fashion).

Blondes, on the other hand, almost always look better with a kiss of the sun. If you have a naturally warmer tone (like Alessandra Ambrosio's icy hue), you're set. If you're on the fairer side (like Karlie Kloss, who sported platinum locks on the runway), a sun-safe spray tan will warm you right up!

Brows: In case you didn't know, the color of your eyebrows matter a whole lot. If you're a blonde with naturally dark eyebrows, like Gigi, going brunette is practically a shoe-in for you. Not only is it MUCH easier to go from blonde to brunette, but your dye job is going to look incredibly natural. If you have light eyebrows, like Rosie, coloring them the same color as your hair is crucial.

If you're a brunette going blonde with dark eyebrows, like Kendall, bleaching your brows is quick and easy—just make sure you have someone on the case that knows what they're doing. Have light brown brows, like Karlie Kloss? You can probably get away with being a dirty blonde without having to touch them!

Makeup: If you have dark hair, no matter your skin tone, your features are going to pop more sans makeup. Not to say that you should go without, but if you're a new brunette like Gigi—you can effortlessly get away with less. An easy way to enhance that natural hair-to-facial-features contrast is to opt for an earth tone makeup palette that enhances, but doesn't overpower.

If you're going in the blonde direction, like Kendall, keep with that sun-kissed theme since lighter hair tends to wash out features. Adding a bronzer over a blush will create a natural looking contour, whereas straight up blush won't look as subtle. Defining eyes with a liner will also help features standout against lighter locks.

Clothing: This is one of those you-don't-know-what-you've-got-til-it's-gone scenarios. Dye your hair blonde, from a nice warm brown, and that red dress you've been saving for the perfect moment will no longer have the same effect. Some colors that will (now) look amazing on you are pale pinks, yellow, white and anything metallic. If you have the opposite problem (went brown after being blonde) some hot picks are navy, nude, black, and red. To sum things up: If you're a new blonde, keep things light and if you're rocking a darker ‘do go for bold colors.

Eye Color: Now, we know this is something you can't change, but if you were blessed with jewel-toned eyes you're going to make one killer brunette. Going blonde? Your brown eyes will add to the overall sun-kissed feel.
