"Nowhere to go but everywhere to be..."
We officially agree with half of Priyanka Chopra's Instagram bio. The actress is jet-setting an awful lot these days, though not for any shortage of places to be. E! News breaks down a week in the life of one of Hollywood's fastest rising starlets (and Bollywood's biggest exports).
Let's take it back to Sunday, a date marked otherwise by the 2016 Oscars (and, of course, patented by one of Chopra's best red carpet looks to date). E! News caught up with the actress as she was getting ready for the event, where she told us that she was "jumping right from the Oscars to the Vanity Fair party," soon-to-be-outfitted in a glimmering caped Jenny Packham gown.
She recounted her plans for the remainder of the evening—plans far grander than even her evening of back-to-back fashion triumphs could have suggested. "I go straight to the airport in my gown. [I'll] change in the airport bathroom, and take a red-eye to start Baywatch [Monday] morning," Chopra said. Yes, in addition to the actress' jam packed Quantico schedule, she is starring opposite Dwayne Johnson in the Baywatch movie.
And so, Chopra jetted off to Miami to begin shooting her U.S. big screen debut. A feat which is far from unexpected, given that Priyanka is, as Johnson once reminded us, "the biggest star out of India," and soon, "the world!"
In between scenes, Chopra did satellite interviews for her new movie Jai Gangaajal (in theaters now). "Thank god got technology!" she wrote in an Instagram caption. She also shared a paparazzi picture of herself with three phones in hand. "Global careers need connectivity," she explained.
As one of Hollywood's fastest rising and most in-demand stars, Chopra never stays in one place for long. The actress took to Instagram Wednesday, announcing that she had temporarily wrapped shooting in Miami and instructing her Baywatch co-stars to "play while I'm away."
Chopra wasn't headed back to the set of Quantico, though. Instead, she traveled to New York City to hang with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Thursday. "Should be a fun night on the tonight show with @jimmyfallon," she wrote on Instagram. And a fun night it was. Not only did the actress stage a takeover of the @fallontonight Instagram—posing alongside the likes of Questlove—but she also engaged in a wing-eating contest with Fallon.
And on Friday, she popped by Live! With Kelly & Michael to promote Quantico's return on March 6.
So, there you have it: Priyanka is currently in the Big Apple. She will presumably head to Montreal next, where she will resume filming Quantico. And then it's back to the Baywatch set with her co-stars, including Zac Efron and Kelly Rohrbach.
