Despite her consistent encouragement, Khloe Kardashian insists she is not the reason behind her brother's new physical lifestyle.

It seems after years of struggling to control his weight, Rob Kardashian has recommitted himself to lowering the number on the scale. Khloe, who has dropped nearly 40 pounds in the past and penned a best-selling wellness book describing her process, is happy to see her little brother making progress again.

"He's working on his fitness journey right now and so, I'm just really happy that he's living this mantra that I preach every day," she told E! News on the red carpet where she was promoting the Live Chin Up portal. "Whatever puts people on a positive path—that's the best thing."

However, she's not the person who put Rob on this positive path. When we asked her if Rob has been listening to her advice, she gave this response.

"I don't think so. God. Who knows who the f--k he listens to at this point," she said.

After a diabetes diagnosis in December, Rob came back into the spotlight on his own accord when he confirmed a new romance with Blac Chynathe following month

The formerly reclusive star has been open about the relationship ever since—making out with the model in front of paparazzi, commissioning a giant portrait of her for Valentine's Day, and making appearances at the gym with her at his side

Meanwhile, Khloe isn't willing to let any partner dictate how she runs her own life.

"I love the philosophy of just accepting who you are and just being happy...on my own terms.  I'm not going to rely on somebody else or on somebody else's schedule to do so," she said.

"This is like my daily routine. It's not going to be just, ‘I'm gonna get fit for the summer.' I want to be fit for my life," she declared. "I want to do whatever it takes to be this way for the rest of my life."
