The Jane the Virgin star shared some very sad news with her Instagram followers tonight, revealing that her dog Ted passed away. The actress made the announcement with a sweet photograph of herself cuddling up to her adorable pup with a caption expressing her distraught and shock over the whole situation.
"Hardest thing in the entire world was saying goodbye to my Ted today. I love you. I always will," she wrote.
"I'll never forget the joy you brought into my life, the journey we took together. You are my boy and mama will miss you. Not sure how to process or handle you not being around anymore. In complete shock hoping anything will make this better. I love you buddy. Forever."
She didn't reveal what exactly happened to Ted to take him away, but the pain is definitely felt by anyone who followed the star on Instagram.
Rodriguez has posted a few snapshots with her four-legged friend on the photo-sharing app over the year, showing the twosome snuggling together at home and on the beach, and even shared that Ted made his way on to the Jane the Virgin set to hang out with baby Mateo.
