Just call Laura Prepon the anti Kit Harington. On Orange Is the New Black, Prepon's Alex Vause was last seen in the garden shed potentially about to meet her maker for her role in naming her former drug kingpin boss. But spoiler alert, yeah, she's back and there's no extreme cover up like Game of Thrones is doing with Harington's Jon Snow.
"We do have to be kind of tight-lipped, but that was kind of a give away. Now with social media, you can't hide anything," Prepon told us while promoting her new diet and nutrition book The Stash Plan, on shelves now. The book details a 21-day guide for reads to lose weight and take charge of their health.
On Orange Is the New Black, Alex and Piper (Taylor Schilling) have had their ups and downs. Last season they ended in splitsville after Piper got with Stella (Ruby Rose) and became a pseudo crime boss in charge of a used underwear selling ring. Could they ride off into the sunset together?
"The Alex and Piper relationship is so awesome. It's so tumultuous…they love each other a lot. It's this crazy relationship, there's never a dull moment. I don't know if two people like that could ever ride off into the sunset, but we'll see what happens in season four. There's no shortage of stories to tell."
Orange Is the New Black was recently renewed for three additional seasons, bringing its total on Netflix to at least seven seasons, all with creator Jenji Kohan on board. Season four debuts, Friday, June 17 on Netflix.
