Throughout the many years of an artist's career, he or she will meet thousands and thousands of fans. Unfortunately, some fans are fighting tougher battles than others.
Dulce María is mourning the loss of her fan Mayrita, who died Sunday morning after a long battle with cancer.
The Mexican singer published a video of the two singing "No Pares," a song about strength, from her days in RBD. The lyrics say, "Fight strong, against all odds, don't let yourself fall…don't stop, don't stop."
On Saturday, the 30-year-old star shared with her followers that Mayrita's health was declining and that she was now home with her family.

The following morning, she broke the tragic news to her fans, "I want to tell you all that Mayrita left us this morning, she is now an angel and is with God permanently, she is no longer suffering," the singer tweeted.
She described the young woman as a "warrior" and said, "I wish there were more people with her bravery, what kept her going was her spirit full of love, she's the bravest solider."
This tragic moment happened as the ex-RBD star was filming the soap opera Corazón que Miente in Mexico.
