Here is it: the first new footage from Orange Is the New Black season four. Included in a little Oscars-themed promo, the new footage features your faves in less than ideal circumstances. And can we take a moment and talk about the SWAT team coming into the prison?

The quick new promo features Laverne Cox's Sophia still in solitary after the events of last season. "It was a joy to play and I felt like I was pushed in ways that I didn't anticipate and it was really challenging and that is always wonderful as an actress," Cox said of season four at TCA. "I had a really good time."

There's also images of Chang (Lori Tan Chinn) and Lolly (Lori Petty) and Gloria (Selenis Levya) getting a pat down, but nothing of Laura Prepon's Alex who ended season three on a cliffhanger. Was she killed in that shed? Probably not, but find out for sure on Friday, June 17 on Netflix. Marvel at the 9 seconds of new footage above.

Orange Is the New Black was recently renewed for three additional seasons, bringing it to a total of seven on the streaming platform. Creator Jenji Kohan will stay on as showrunner for all seven seasons.

"Three more years! Not quite a political term, but still plenty of time to do some interesting things. In some cultures, 'May you lead an interesting life,' is a curse, but I don't live in those cultures," Kohan said in a statement. "Here's to keeping it interesting. Thanks Netflix! Both thanks and you're welcome Lionsgate! And kudos and gratitude to the stellar cast and crew and writers and producers and editors and musicians and mixers and shleppers...with whom I have the pride and honor of crafting this show. Three more years! Three more years!"
