Oscars host Chris Rock continued to address race, while bringing the laughs, at the 2016 Academy Awards in a skit about the lack of diversity in Hollywood films.

As noted by Rock, this is the second year in a row that all of the acting nominees at the Academy Awards are white.

"But worse than that, if you're a black actor just getting the opportunity to be in a movie can be a struggle," said Rock.

The show then kicked off a pre-taped skit starting with a Joy parody, showing a clip from the film with former Oscars host Whoopi Goldberg inserted into the scene.

As a nervous Jennifer Lawrence is prompted from off-camera in the scene from the film by Bradley Cooper, on how to present her cleaning product, Goldberg mops the floor.

"Say something. Maybe one day they'll make a movie about a skinny white lady who invented a mop," said Goldberg.

"Of course a black girl would have to invent a cure to cancer before they even give her a TV movie."

"But hey, I'm not mad… because I know how to play the game, Joy" said Goldberg.

The skit then cuts to a grisly scene from The Revenant, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, as he's attacked by Saturday Night Live's Leslie Jones for not casting her in the Oscar-nominated film.

"There are no black actresses in this movie," she yells as DiCaprio's character, who is face down in the mud.

"My agent called you twice, then I called you 16 times," said Jones. "You should've called me back."

The parody then cuts to comedian Tracy Morgan, inserting himself into The Danish Girl.

"I'm a Danish girl," yells Morgan, chomping into a dessert.

"These danishes is good, girl."

The skit then ends with a parody of The Martian, with Rock starring as an astronaut stranded in space, while Jeff Daniels and Kristen Wiig debate in a control room if they should spend the money to fly him back to Earth safely.

"Can we just leave him up there?" Asks Wiig.

The two then pretend not to see Rock on the video screen, as they leave to grab lunch.

Goldberg then mops her way into the scene after Daniels and Wiig leave.

"See, told you they weren't going to bring you back," Goldberg tells Rock.

Rock held nothing back about the #OscarsSoWhite controversy during his monologue, as well, earlier in the show.

"Well, I'm here at the Academy Awards, otherwise known as the White Peoples Choice Awards," said Rock, to applause and laughter from the crowd.
