Watching yourself on the big screen may just be harder than you think!
Although Eddie Redmayne was more than thrilled to be a part of The Danish Girl, the actor couldn't help but share his fears while watching his role for the very first time.
"Whenever you see anything you do for the first time, it's a moment of you're trying to look at all the things you've done wrong," he admitted to E! News exclusively on Live From the Red Carpet. "So I try to watch it once, then go and have a coffee break, then go watch it again and then try to take it in so I'm not looking at all the things you do wrong."
So, did Eddie like what he saw? Instead of giving himself a pat on the back, the 2016 Oscars Lead Actor nominee decided to give credit to his co-star. "I just thought Alicia [Vikander] was formidable in it."
Speaking of giving credit where credit is due, Eddie wanted to give the transgender community credit for helping him understand his character. Without their support, the actor wonders if he would have had the same success.
"It was about meeting men and women of the trans community and hearing their stories," he explained to Ryan Seacrest when discussing highlights from his experience. "Across the board, everyone was sensationally generous at educating me and it was almost meeting women from different generations to hear what their experience had been like."
