Michael Fassbender Brings Dad Joseph as Date to Oscars 2016

His role as Steve Jobs has earned him a Lead Actor nomination

So sweet! Micheal Fassbender brought his father Joseph as his date to the 2016 Oscars. "He didn't give me any choice, really," Michael joked when Ryan Seacrest remarked on the sweet gesture. The father-son duo looked smashing in seemingly matching suits with swank bow ties. While it was just the two of them on the carpet, Micheal mentioned his whole family was there as well including his mom and sister. The Steve Jobs actor has a Lead Actor nomination tonight for his role as the title character. This is the second time he has been nominated for an Oscar. Previously he was up for Actor in a Supporting Role for 12 Years a Slave.
