The Vampire Diaries-Originals Crossover Gave Us So Many Klaroline Feelings

The Vampire Diaries and The Originals finally crossed over again, and there's really only one thing we took away from the whole thing: KLAROLINE.

Sure, lots of things happened in this episode, including the introduction of a secret society, Tyler Lockwood returning AND undergoing a werewolf transition and Enzo finding out about his family. But Klaroline was at the center—and we also saw what appears to be the beginning of the end for Steroline. And the beginning of the beginning for Alaroline (is that what we'll call it? Maybe needs a little workshopping).

But first, Klaroline:

Stefan headed to New Orleans to ask Klaus for assistance in dealing with his whole "supernatural hunter won't stop until she kills him" problem. Of course, at first he lied about his real reason for hiding out, which did not make Klaus happy. But after a lovely chat on the phone with Caroline, where Klaus offered condolences for her mom's death, parenting advice and hand-me-downs, he had a change of heart.

Lest we thought that would be the end of it, Klaus and Stefan had a heart-to-heart as Klaus drove the Salvatore brother to safety. Klaus' proposal for Stefan re: Caroline, after finding out he's running from Rayna after trying to save Damon: "Let her go, or spend an eternity sacrificing everything good you have with her for your brother. Believe me, I've spent an eternity watching Elijah do the same for me."

The CW

That leads us to the Steroline/Alaroline(?) factor:

It appears Stefan is going to take Klaus' advice to let his girlfriend go for her own good (how very superhero show of you, TVD). Meanwhile, Caroline is clearly struggling with the thought of Alaric taking the babies to Texas without her (despite fully acknowledging that she was a surrogate for the girls and not their mother), and offered to help him watch them on the move. This is clearly the beginning of their beautiful relationship, right?

Now, for the other stuff:

-Enzo found out that this mysterious organization who's trying to track down the Hunter, Rayna, was founded by his family. FYI, Valerie thinks they're just going to use Stefan as bait and they're not to be trusted. But now Enzo knows more about his past, yay?

-Tyler Lockwood has also been working with the Armory, and they held him hostage with Damon…until Bonnie tried to set them free and she got knocked in the head in the process. Since she'd been stripped of her powers, she is seriously hurt.

-The Heretic couple got taken down. Sorry, Heretic couple!

-Klaroline.

-The flash-forward saw Caroline head to New Orleans to seek help—only to learn that he hasn't been heard from for about three years. Um…what does this mean for The Originals?
