They grow up so fast!

It may seem like just yesterday when we were only just meeting Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, Raj, and Penny, but in reality, we've spent nine years and now 200 episodes getting to know the Pasadena gang.

The Big Bang Theory just celebrated a huge milestone in real life with a milestone celebration on screen: It was Sheldon's birthday, and for the first time ever, he was going to allow his friends to throw him a party.

While we're still amazed that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) even has friends that want to throw him a party given how mean he often is to them, it was super sweet to watch the gang try to put together the best party possible. The episode was chock-full of guest stars and jokes that perfectly represented what this show has been for nearly a decade.

Behold, just a few of the best moments from tonight's 200th episode:

—"Wait a minute, you mention his birthday and he vanishes?" "Where has that information been this whole time?!"

Sheldon's little dash back up the stairs at Amy's mention of his big day was great, but Leonard's reaction to it was even better.

—"Just so you know, he's kind of a diva. Won't take the bus, he won't pack his own lunch, won't let you spend the night on his couch..."

Stewart's relationship with Adam West is unsurprisingly both complicated and incredibly simple.

— "What's an Affleck?" —Adam West throwing some serious shade at some of the other Batmans

—Amy: "You do look good in that suit. Maybe later I'll get to see you in your birthday suit."

Sheldon: "This is my birthday suit. Are you having a stroke? Because that's the kind of thing that just ruins a birthday party."

—Penny's bathroom pep talk: "There was a time I never would have been friends with someone like you, and now, you're one of my favorite people."

—Leslie Winkle's (Sara Gilbert) response to Leonard saying, "so much has changed." "Has it?"

—Leonard interrupted Stephen Hawking's birthday song so they could all sing along, and Stephen's response: "I was rushing it, but all right."

And the things we could have done without:

Amy and Leonard having a "who's seen who without pants" argument re: Sheldon.

Kripke hitting on Leonard's mother with phrases like "sinner in the sack" and "cougar on the woose." We just did not need that image in our brains, thank you very much.

Here's to another 200(ish)!

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
