Louis Tomlinson, Instagram

Fatherhood sure looks good on Louis Tomlinson.

The One Direction singer stepped out with his bandmates earlier this week for the 2016 Brit Awards, and although he looked just as hunky as ever, there was something else that added to his already alluring appeal—baby talk.

No, not that kind of baby talk (FYI: it's never cute). We're talking about the sweet things Tomlinson said about his newborn baby boy Freddie, who was born last month and has been melting our hearts ever since.

Speaking with Capital FM, the singer tugged at our hearts when explaining that this was the first night away from his son. "I'm still getting used to it. It's my first time away from him so I miss him, obviously, but it's cool. I do get Father's Day now."

Tomlinson also shared what he hopes his little lad's first word will be, and it's probably what you'd guess..."It's a tough question because the immaturity is just pushing through there," Louis first joked, and then said, "but 'dad'!"

But, of course!

Speaking of daddy duties, Louis made sure to reassure everyone that he's had his fair share of diaper changing, even before the arrival of his little guy, thankyouverymuch. "Have I changed a nappy? I'd actually probably changed about a hundred nappies before Freddie because I used to help out with my sister so I have changed his nappy, thank you!"

The 1D singer became the first member of the pop group to become a dad when Briana Jungwirth, a Los Angeles stylist who was romantically involved with him in 2015, gave birth to their baby boy in January. "I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :)," Tomlinson said on Twitter at the time of Freddie's birth. "He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I'm very happy!!"

Since Freddie's birth, we've been able to melt over his adorable pictures, thanks to Louis' Instagram.

His latest showed the new dad cradling his baby boy shirtless as the two gazed into each others' eyes, and it's just as cute as you imagine.
