Instagram When Viola Davis decided to renew her vows one day before Valentine's Day, there were a few certain people that had to be there.
Yes, there was her beautiful (and excited) 4-year-old daughter Genesis. And there was also her TV family from How to Get Away With Murder.
In a new Instagram post from Aja King, fans got an inside look at the unforgettable white party. As you likely could have guessed, the TGIT grew was all about celebrating their co-star's big day.
"What a great looking bunch!!!" Aja wrote on Instagram while posing with the crew including Alfred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Matt McGorry and Charlie Webber. "#HTGAWM."
While details of the romantic ceremony still remain pretty hush-hush, Viola recently shared a few details about the big day.
While walking down the aisle, the Emmy winner chose to wear a silk design embroidered dress designed by Carmen Marc Valvo. At the after party held inside the Hotel Casa del Mar, guests were able to taste the couple's signature drink composed of mango juice and tequila.
As for the idea of renewing vows, Viola loves celebrating the special relationship she has with her man of more than 12 years.
"I love the rituals of weddings. What can I say?" she shared on the Today show when discussing why she loves renewing her vows with husband Julius Tennon. "It's a time in my life when I feel the most alive and that's the thing that I don't always feel that way."
She continued, "I love what I do but sometimes I'm on a sound stage for 17 hours a day and I'm tired and I'm hot but with Julius, it just reminds me of what's beautiful about my life and I think that's worth it."
