Is this Bristol Palin's indirect comment on the recent legal proceedings concerning her ex Levi Johnston and their son Tripp?

E! News reported earlier today that the former couple have finally reached a custody agreement over their son, after seven years and $100,000 in lawyer fees, according to Johnston, and although Bristol has remained silent on the matter, she did post an interesting quote on Instagram that some are speculating could be her unofficial response to the whole ordeal.

The quote read: "Always be careful about what you hear about a woman. Rumors either come from a man that can't have her or a woman who can't compete with her."

And while we'd love to offer you some more insight behind her post in the form of a caption, we can't. Palin decided to just let the picture speak for itself, and in this case, we can't really blame her.

Additionally, the mother of two also shared another quote yesterday which was a little more transparent with its meaning. It read, "The best security blanket a child can have is parents who respect each other."

"I'm so happy to have my son in my life, and to put all of this back in forth in the courts behind me. It might have taken me 7 years and cost me around $100,000 in lawyer fees, spread out among 3 different lawyers, as well as a lot of patience, but it was all worth it," Levi wrote yesterday.

"I'm happy now to be successfully co-parenting," he added.

Levi ended by sharing a message to dads who may find themselves in similar situations, urging them to never stop fighting for their kids. "And I want to say that even though fathers in this country don't usually have the upper hand in court, I encourage every father to never give up on fighting to keep their kids in their life," he said.

"It's always worth it."
