Kathryn Edwards has moved on with her life and isn't trying to look back.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was closely tied to the O.J. Simpson trial, given that her then-husband Marcus Allen was alleged to have had an affair with Simpson's ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. The Bravo star came face to face with Faye Resnick, who authored Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted in 1994, during a recent episode of the Bravo reality TV show. In the book Resnick portrayed Edwards as someone who would overlook the affair, and it was O.J.'s finding out about it that sparked him to allegedly murder his wife.
Edwards sat down with E! News to talk about the hit FX show, The People v. O.J. Simpson, and revealed that she hasn't watched it yet. "I'm not saying I won't watch it in the future," she said, "but I lived it the first time around. It's one of those things that I look back and it was another life. It wasn't even me. I look back at that time in my life as if I was someone else."
Edwards and Allen eventually divorced, and she went on to marry Donnie Edwards in 2001. It has been more than two decades since everything happened, so a lot has changed for Edwards, including whom she hangs out with.
"I don't run with any of those same people," she added. "I don't have the same group of friends at all. Everything is different."
Edwards and Resnick didn't know each other at the time of the book's release, which was published just months after Nicole was murdered.
"She capitalized on a tragedy. Horrible. She wrote a book back in the day, 21 years ago, and spoke of me. She's never met me, so don't act like you know me when you don't know me," Kathryn said on the Jan. 26 episode of RHOBH. "There's very few people in my life that I've carried a dagger for...She's one of them."
Later in the episode Resnick responded to Edwards. "You know something, I really don't want to have a bunch of conversations about this. That's a really uncomfortable time in all of our lives and I think that's something that should be discussed in private," she said. "If I've done anything to offend anyone, I'm sorry, I really am."
