NetflixMaybe The Punisher is the least of Daredevil's worries. In the second trailer for Marvel's Daredevil season two, Elodie Yung gets the spotlight as Elektra, Matt Murdock's very deadly ex-girlfriend. She needs his help. And ninjas of the Hand are involved. Yikes.
"If we do this, nobody dies. Do you understand?" Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) tells Elektra in the new trailer below. Anybody who knows anything about Elektra knows that may be hard to accomplish. But they make a pretty kick-butt team.
The trailer above also features new looks at The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, aka The Punisher. Viewers also get a glimpse at the rising tensions between Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Matt, an angry Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), the return of Stick (Scott Glenn) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) soaking it all in.
Daredevil season two consists of 13 new episodes which all drop on Netflix on Friday, March 18. The series is part of Netflix's growing Marvel universe. Jessica Jones starring Krysten Ritter premiered at the end of 2015 to rave reviews and has already been renewed for a second season. Mike Colter stars in the upcoming Luke Cage and Iron Fist is set to follow before all the heroes team up for a miniseries, The Defenders.
