Watch: Cate Blanchett Talks Oscars Preparation

With Oscars 2016 just over the horizon, you'd think any major preparations would already be in full swing. But for Cate Blanchett, not so much.

E! News' Zuri Hall caught up with the Oscar nominee at the 2016 Costume Designers Guild Awards, where Blanchett revealed she's not under any pressure to pick a dress or prepare an acceptance speech.

"We'll get there. It's a few days away. There's a few more hurdles to jump between now and then, but it should be fun," she dished.

Despite earning her sixth Academy Award nomination (this time for Best Actress in Carol), Cate is clearly the essence of cool, calm and collected ahead of Sunday night's festivities.

And she's already been honored for her cinematic contributions this awards season.

In addition to her BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations, Blanchett was honored by the Costume Designers Guild with the Lacoste Spotlight Award. Sandy Powell, who is up for Best Costume Design this Sunday—not once, but twice—for Carol and Cinderella, presented the award to Cate.
