The One Direction crooner took to Instagram to share a shirtless selfie, flaunting his chiseled abs and hairy chest like never before. "Workout done off to party!!!" he wrote alongside the hashtag "#britawards2016."
Seems as if the hunky 22-year-old was getting one final fitness sesh in before hitting the red carpet with fellow band mate Louis Tomlinson ahead of the U.K.'s biggest night in pop music.
Half of the boy band reunited across the pond in hopes of taking home an award in either the British Artist Video category for "Drag Me Down" or the British Group category. The pop quartet is not scheduled to perform, but plenty of other acts are, including Adele, Coldplay, James Bay, Jess Glynne, Justin Bieber, Little Mix, Rihanna, Drake and The Weeknd.
While it's been awhile since 1D fans were treated to an official group outing, Liam has clearly been keeping busy during the group's extended hiatus.
In addition to toning his washboard abs, Payne recently teased a brand-new track on Instagram and debuted a sleek new hairstyle. Looks like vacation time looks good on Liam!
