Gilmore Girls fans on Team Jess, you may need to take a seat. In an interview at a Wizard World comic book convention, Milo Ventimiglia dropped some new details about his return to Stars Hollow.

"Jess is just up to Jess s--t. He's Jess. He's a little salty and ornery and kind of doing his own thing and has zero tolerance for anything—or anyone," Ventimiglia said.

Typical Jess, right? Right. But here's the little nugget that may worry you: "He's also there to kind of push the ball forward for some folks of Stars Hollow, which is something that Jess has always done, whether intentionally, maliciously, or positively. He's always sent people in a direction."

Is he there to push Rory (Alexis Bledel) into the arms of somebody else once again? We know he's not the only ex-boyfriend of Rory returning for the four-part miniseries on Netflix: Logan (Matt Czuchry) and Dean (Jared Padalecki) are also along for the ride. Other returning cast members include Lauren Graham, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Danny Strong, Sally Struthers and many more. Even Vanessa Marano is returning as April, Luke's daughter. So far it seems the only resident not returning to Stars Hollow is Melissa McCarthy as Sookie.

No premiere date has been announced for the four 90-minute installments of Netflix's Gilmore Girls, but you can take a look at what's been going on behind the scenes in our handy gallery.
