Kate Middleton made quite an impression Wednesday morning when she stopped by St. Catherine's Primary School in Edinburgh.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked gorgeous in a green Max Mara coat, which she must be a huge fan of because she has the exact same jacket in white! Prince William's wife was making a few stops during her day trip to Edinburgh, including St. Catherine's to discuss Place2Be, a mental health charity for children of which she is royal patron.

The students greeted Kate with flowers, signs and massive grins as the royal made her way through the crowd. Two students, a boy and a girl, were lucky enough to be selected to hand the brunette beauty a bouquet before they made their way inside. During a school assembly, Kate talked to the youngsters about Place2Be, which provides in-school support and training to improve the emotional wellbeing of students and their families.

"I think everybody should start their morning like that," she told the students. "Have a wonderful day."

Kate and the students gathered outside later where the kids sang for the brunette royal. "She said we sang really well," Sophie Winters, 8, told reporters.

During her one-day trip to Scotland, Kate will also be channeling her competitive side when she meets with Andy Murray's mom, Judy Murray, a famous tennis coach (how do you think her son got so good?!). Judy is expected to give the royal a couple of tips on her game so she can try to beat her husband the next time they get a game going. Kate will also join in some activities with Judy and her group and test the young athletes on the skills they've learned with the famous professional coach.

It looks like she'll have to swap her houndstooth Le Kilt skirt and heels for some tennis whites and sneakers before hitting the court!
