Sorry to everyone with a fear of clowns, this one is staying on your TV screens for a long time.

Zach Galifianakis' new comedy Baskets was just renewed for a second season by FX, the network announced on Tuesday, adding that season two will debut in early 2017. Co-created by The Hangover star, Louis C.K. and Jonathan Krisel, FX boasts that Baskets' series premiere was the highest-rated debut for a basic cable primetime comedy series in two years, with the first three episodes averaging 1.5 million total viewers.

"Baskets is bold, brilliant and incredibly funny and we could not be happier with the reception it's received in its breakout first season," Eric Schrier, President of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions, said in a statement. "Baskets brings together three of the most innovative comedic minds working today - Zach, Louis and Jonathan - and we thank them, the rest of the creative team and the entire cast for everything they've done for the series."

Baskets airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
