When it came to bringing her animated persona to life, Shakira had quite a few requirements.

The singer stars in the upcoming Disney flick Zootopia as a crop-top rocking gazelle (named Gazelle) with pop star fame, and the similarities between the two weren't unintentional. In fact, Shakira tells E! News the character's blond hair and killer curves were created with her in mind.

Initially though, Shakira revealed Gazelle needed a little something extra to fully embody the "Hips Don't Lie" songstress.

"There's a lot of aspects of her anatomy that needed to look a little more like me so that's when I suggested to them to give her a little more meat, because she was a bit too skinny. She was too fit. She needed to be curvier," the bombshell explained.

As a result, Shakira says Gazelle was given a complete makeover, adding bigger hips, longer lashes, darker eyes and wavier hair to the character. She continued, "I even gave them the idea to make her wear one of the outfits that I wore in one of my performances."

In addition to her acting skills, Shakira brings her voice to the movie with an original song called "Try Everything."
