More than two months after Maksim Chmerkovskiy got down on one knee and proposed to Peta Murgatroyd, the engaged couple decided to celebrate their love once again at a masquerade-themed party Saturday night.
Held at the Diamond Horseshoe, a club in the basement of New York City's Paramount Hotel, guests dressed to impress for a night of music, dancing and love.
"What an incredible night celebrating these two," guest Rumer Willis shared on Instagram while posing with the happy couple. "@maksimc and @petamurgatroyd I am so honored to have been apart of it. Love you both."
Sharna Burgess added, "Hugs and endless love for the most beautiful girl in the room, inside and out, every time. What an incredible night baby girl, and it's just the beginning of a new incredible chapter in your life. Love you beyond @petamurgatroyd #bestengagementpartyever."
According to social media, Tony Dovolani, Val Chmerkovskiy, Amy Purdy and troupe member Nicole Volynets also attended the event that featured a cocktail reception and dinner. Rumer even ended the night with a solo performance of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."
Back in December, fans were pleasantly surprised to witness Mak's proposal during a production of SWAY: A Dance Trilogy. Before taking a bow for the audience, the fan-favorite surprised his leading lady with a special ring.
"I'm in love with you, and I want to be in love with you for the rest of my life," he shared. You all know what comes next!
"I couldn't have been more surprised," Peta told E! News after the special day. "Maks' romantic proposal is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I'm excited for the next chapter in our lives and to plan the wedding of my dreams with Maks."
