John Stamos, have mercy!

The 52-year-old Full House actor posted on his Instagram page Sunday the cutest home video showing him playing with his co-stars Mary Kate-Olsen and Ashley Olsen on the grass during a visit to Hawaii in 1989, when they were 3 years old and two years after the hit sitcom debuted.

The Olsen twins are dressed in matching magenta patterned outfits and give the actor hugs and kisses. A woman behind the camera tells them to "be nice to Jesse." And, of course, Stamos' hair looks spectacular.

The actor shared the clip days before the Feb. 26 debut of Netflix's Full House spinoff series, Fuller House.

The actor reprises his role as Uncle Jesse on the new show, while the Olsen twins, who played his youngest niece Michelle, are the only former cast members not returning. The two, who are now 29, haven't acted in recent years, opting to concentrate on their fashion empire.

"Ashley said, I have not been in front of a camera since I was 17 and I don't feel comfortable acting," the series'  executive producer, Bob Boyett, told People last month. "Mary-Kate said, 'It would have to be me because Ash doesn't want to do it, but the timing is so bad for us.'"

Stamos has said he was "heartbroken" to hear Mary-Kate and Ashley would not appear on Fuller House.

Mary-Kate had said she was "shocked" she hadn't heard from Stamos about the show. He later said on Howard Stern's SIRIUS XM radio show, "I think there was some confusion. They said first I didn't ask them. And I didn't personally, but I was told they were asked."

"So I had a knee-jerk reaction and said, 'Bulls--t, I did ask them.' And they got upset," he said. "So I did call and talked to Mary-Kate and explained what the show is going to be and told them I'd love for them to be on there and they decided not to, which I respect."
