VH1 reality stars pay tribute their late co-star

News of VH1 reality star  Angela "Big Ang" Raiola's death was announced early this morning, and now her "brokenhearted" Mob Wives co-stars are speaking out in mourning.

Big Ang lost her difficult battle against both brain and lung cancer at 55 years old after facing many hurdles along the way.

A statement posted through her Twitter account read: "It is with sad regret that we inform you that at 3:01 a.m. Angela Raiola peacefully ended her battle with cancer, and was called home. She was surrounded by nothing but love from her immediate family, and the closest friends. YOU, (her fans) were some of the most special people in the world, and she loved you immensely. Thank you for your love, prayers, and unconditional support of Angela right to the very end."

Here's how her fellow Mob Wives co-stars and other celebrities are paying their respects:

"My beautiful friend is with the Angels now," Carla Facciolo wrote on Instagram. "Angela u will be missed more than anyone I knw ! U were so loved by so many ppl .. May u rest in peace my friend . I love you & I will miss you."

Drita D'Avanzo also shared a sweet pic, writing: "I will see you again one day my friend...I will miss every minute of u until then. I love you. #RIPAngela."

Birttany Fogarty shared this photo with the caption: "You will be forever missed and never forgotten. Thank you for always being there for me, I will forever cherish all of the memories and laughs we have shared together and all that you have taught me. Love you."

Karen Gravano shared a collage of her memories with Big Ang and wrote an in-depth caption, saying, "Completely heartbroken. This has been an emotional roller coaster for you, your family and the people that love you but throughout it all you never let this fucking disease take your spirit...You have a heart of gold my friend The amount of people that came together to support you speaks volumes of how much you are truly loved and respected....You are an amazing soul and I am blessed to have had you in my life...rest in paradise Angel."

Marissa Jade took to Instagram to write: "Heaven just gained another angel...You will be missed beautiful."

Vinni Medugno wrote, "I will love you, cherish you, and hold you in my heart wherever I go, and whatever I do. Thank you for being a major part of my life. You've taught and brought so much to me. Sleep peacefully, and kiss my grandmother. Goodbye my love!"
